Big congratulations to the wonderful Emily and Mike who tied the knot at The Hovels at Harewood in absolutely perfect weather!
We started the day at a cottage on the Harewood Estate, which was absolutely beautiful! Full of my dream lighting with the sun spilling in through the full length windows. The rooms were filled with soft rays of sunlight creating a warm atmosphere for Emily and team Bride to prepare for the big day ahead. The cottage was the perfect backdrop for the beginning of this special day.
The Hovels at Harewood Wedding
Emily's dress was beautifully stylish and very elegant. Her accessories were all carefully chosen and perfect. As a photographer, I was captivated by the way the light played off her shoes and earrings that I knew would translate beautifully in the photographs. The florals that adorned the cottage were a true work of art from Ivy Florist. Emily's bouquet was filled with lush Peonies and wildflowers in a soft, pastel palette. Each bloom was carefully chosen to reflect the style of the wedding. The wildflowers scattered around the room added a natural and organic feel. As I captured each detail with my camera. The combination of the stunning location, the dress, and the beautiful florals created such a gorgeous visual story.
Wedding Photography at The Hovels at Harewood in Leeds
The ceremony took place at The Hovels at Harewood – a new venue full of natural light that flooded through the glass roof and I was very excited to photograph it. The Hovels at Harewood wedding photography was something I had been really looking forward to for Emily and Mike. The colorful florals from Ivy Florist looked absolutely stunning against the backdrop of the light-filled space, creating a vibrant and picturesque setting for Emily and Mike's special day. Emily and Mike's laughter echoed through the ceremony, adding much happiness to the day. After the vows were exchanged, the newlyweds were showered with confetti in the sunny field next to the venue. The combination of the beautiful venue, the vibrant florals, and the infectious laughter of the couple made this ceremony so lovely and joyous.
The weather continued to be absolutely perfect as the light gradually turned into a mesmerizing golden hue. Our stroll through the Harewood Estate was timed perfectly with the sun dropping down low in the sky. The woodlands were full of deer roaming freely which was a special sight to see. Amongst the towering trees and dappled sunlight, we seized the opportunity to create stunning and ethereal couple photos. As the day transitioned into night, we made our way back to The Hovels. The evening unfolded with the clinking of glasses and the rich aroma of an espresso martini or two!. Surrounded by friends and loved ones, we danced and celebrated under the starlit sky through the glass roof.
Award Winning Wedding Photography at The Hovels at Harewood
I've started the photos off with one of my favourites from our ten minute couples shoot - we went into the woods near by and the light was just perfect. I was thrilled to win an award from Wedisson for this photograph for best wedding photography.
