Leeds' first Reveal Rave (probably) by Leeds wedding photograher Heather Butterworth

Updated: Jul 1, 2020

It was definitely a first for me and for most of the other guests who attended Aby & Tristan's Reveal Rave on Saturday at Chapel Allerton Lawn Tennis and Squash Club!

There was a full bar serving refreshing non alcoholic drinks as well as alcoholic favourites including tempting-looking Brockmans Gin & Tonics (which might just be a favourite of mine!) & pints of members' favorite Krombacher and the more ubiquitous San Miguel! Guests were also given a plentiful supply of Percy Pigs along with delicious Collin the Caterpillar cakes. Let's just say I was a very happy and well-fed photographer!

Guests were invited to offer advice to the parents to be, as well as taking part in a raffle! As the drinks & food flowed there was an uplifting sound track provided by DJ's Matt & James, who had support from a small musical director in the form of Baby Barney - very cute!

Anticipation built as everyone waited for the big moment. Many similar conversations could be heard around the room....'Is it a girl?' 'Is it a boy?' and 'Shall we have another beer?'

When the time came for the big reveal, everyone gathered on the terrace and waiting for Aby & Tristan to release their smoke bombs, soundtracked to Boys and Girls by Blur......

Whoop Whoop! It's a boy! Congratulations to Aby & Tristan!!!

And the party continued.....

It was a fantastic afternoon that everyone enjoyed and I am now fully converted to Reveal Raves! Let me know if you are having one!
